Okaay...so I haven't really been posting.
Can you blame me? The exams are a week away and I haven't started.

Bittersweet Symphony was...bittersweet. It wasn't rock at all. I almost fell asleep. Est kept insisting I rest on Bry's shoulder instead of hers.

And I had to get last-minute tickets for Ken and Julian.

Ah well... at least I finally got to meet everyone in the gang now. Darren didn't come. Whew. Est will be teasing me till no end. And she gave me a scar cause I tore up the paper Kimberly painstakingly made.

No offence, Darren, but I just don't like you that way.

Jono moved to sit with Bry, Est and me after the first half. Guess he couldn't stand Ken and Julian. Haha.. but I have to agree with them. The only parts I liked was the Phantom Of The Opera thing, and the "I am cow, hear me moo" thing. I mean, how can anyone not like that perfomance?

So, yep. That's about what happened. Minus the track meet and the swim meet, which was a total waste of time. And I've just started co-writing a book with Feimao. She's created a whole new world. And I have an archdemon character in it=). Her name is Daethane and she would be happy to slack all day long. That's okay, seeing as her employer has been slacking for a few thousand years.


P.S. My dad's got a new plasma TV after obssessing over it for a mere 3 days. How short is that?

The bus ride was sooo long><>

Anyway, OBS looks really nice. The residential part does. It's exactly like a chalet. Except they don't have that barbeque smell. The "chalets" even have a nice view of the sea! The same can't be said for the mobile onmes though. The place looks like it's been through a war. And everyone was, I dunno, happy to see me or something. They were yelling, " Hi Dawn!" and shocking me. Maybe they were just bored. I was never that popular. I found the 3A3 people. They looked relatively happy. "heh-heh"ed a bit when I asked them whether it was fun. But on the whole HAPPY.

Unlike me. Stuck at home doing my revision. I can't really watch TV in the daytime or surf the net on weekdays(Dad's orders, after I surfed about 4 hours at one go). Plus my mum is always home. God, I wanna visit them again.

Monday

Finished all my homework. I have taken to drinking coffee every day now, since apparently it keeps me from sleeping in class. Well, every class except History.

Anyway, the doctor has changed my appointment to a week later. So that means I probably will join Estelle for her Add Math class the week after CNY. If I even go at all.

I'll be going to OBS on a tour tomorrow with the teachers and parents. It's only for three hours, but it's better than nothing. At least I get to see my friends again.

The Weekend-And I'm Slacking, As Usual.

During the weekend, I tried to do my homework. The key word here is TRIED which suggests failure.Seeing as I just ate, slept and surfed. The computer sucks. I've got loads of WinZip stuff, but I can't open it. Which means I can't play Lineage II. Argh.

Anyway my dad just upgraded to MaxOnline 6500 so I'm getting a digital camera and an all-in-one printer soon. Yay!:D Snap, snap, scan,scan.

Come to think of it, what's the point of getting a fast modem when the computer is slow? Fast + Slow = SLOW.

Visit of the NJ people

After a quite boring day at school, we had yet another OBS briefing( to which I wasn't paying much attention to save the watch names). I mean, Cook is okay...But Cheng Ho? What the hell?!

And the house meetings were a waste of time. And I had so much unwanted attention today because of my new erm... hairstyle?

Went back to class to pack my bag when the bell rang. Only to find Sixuan and the others inside with the NJ uniform on. Oh God, I wanted to cry. But I blinked them back while getting out asap. I dunno why I'm still hurt by the whole incident. I mean, it's been months since I last stepped in NJ.

Geog Test

I got my geog test results today. I'm still waiting for my Cem, Bio, Hist and Math ones. I got so scared when I heard there were many failures and the highest in my class was only 16 out of 20 marks. So I practically hyperventilated when I got fifteen and a half. I hope I do as well for the others.

Bowling

Today the bus was packed. And I had to stand><. I wonder why there are so many Sec 1 bowling girls all of a sudden. I mean, from about 20 girls last year to 40 this year is a big jump. Most of them will probably go to the team at the end of the month. Which reminds me of my lousy skills, and that I suck. Because I go tmy high score of 133 this week. At least it's my average score.

Ble-*ahem* I dunno where to start

Well... these few days has been too busy. I've got tests already. That's not a good thing. And no free periods. AND I seem to have changed from the quietest in class to the loudest. Or maybe it's just the people in class. They seem to be like the undead. Rep stuff stinks.

Heard Yam has a new girlfriend. Her name is Jacque. I wonder what she looks like(:

I'm back!(:

Firstly, sorry if I haven't been updating. My com crashed a few days before the flight, rendering me completely helpless and bored.

Nothing much really happened after the exams, except...
1. Inter-class Soccer, where in the end it was 2i Team 1 vs. 2i Team 2. We had loads of fun, and my shoe came off when I kicked the ball once. I knew I should have tied it tighter, but I like my shoes that way, so...who cares? I don't.
2. NE Trip, where we sat on this bumboat and waved to the tourists and stuff. Quite fun.
3. Class Party, where we just sat around Hannah's drum set and the piano, and later moved to the TV to watch DVDs and the class CD. Touching, but we all laughing at the end, contrary to what Xin, Co and Chia wanted. Sad I had to leave early to get some sleep before the flight...):

Just came back from Australia yesterday...whew. The trip rocked. Went there for about three weeks, came back with tons of chocolate, tanned (and horribly DRY) skin and presents for Crys and Eleanor and people I'm likely to see next year.

How I spent the weeks( Part One):

Day 1: 4 November

Got up at 4am for the flight, but was still quite late. Nothing to look at during the wee hours in transit. Boarded at about 7, and got stuck on the ground for about two hours due to some problems with the plane. I swear I'm gonna stick to Singapore Airlines now...

Watched some movies on board like Around the World in 80 Days, Sinbad, nothing much...and watched the clouds outside the window. (I'm also never sitting near the window again. It's too cold when the temperature outside reaches -51 degrees Celcius. Brrrr...)

Got to the airport at 7pm there( 3 hours ahead of Singapore instead of 2 because of daylight saving), met my aunt, went to her house where I'll spend the next few weeks, and...slept the rest of the day(or night) away.

Day 2: 5 November

Woke up damn early by my usual standards: 8am. Groggily go to the bathroom, reach the breakfast table when my dad's handphone begins to ring. It turns out to be the school, offering me the 9 subject combination. Great timing, I must say.*rolls eyes* Anyway, I accept. What have I got to lose anyway? Plus I don't wanna repeat what happened in P4, when I didn't choose EM1. So... now I'm gonna do Triple Science. Like...wow.

God, I'm tired. Shall post more later.

Anyway, it's my dad's birthday today:D

stank. Had some stupid Chinese Enrichment thing. Argh, it was SOOOOO boring. Then there was some lame police talk. Took me half an hour to stop stoning and notice that the video they showed was the same one they showed us last year, and the year before, and the year before, and the year before, and the year before, and the year before... I rest my case.

P.S. Ja came back. Complained about her Hong Kong roommate.*sigh*

Post-exam stuff:D

Heh...went out with Cryssie and Eleanor immediately after Home Econs. Home Econs was probably the worst paper ever. Who even wants to know how to cook and sew?!

Anyway, Cryssie's mum gave us a lift to Orchard and we had free tickets to watch White Chicks. Until now, I still have no idea whether that movie was worth it. We went to Heeren, Ngee Ann City, Wisma, Borders...sooo fun!!!And we kept meeting ppl from MG there. They were like, all over Orchard or something...

Except the fact that Seth was tagging along. And I thought only females could be so whiny and annoying. He sure proved me wrong.

Didn't go anywhere on Thursday, and on Friday we were supposed to go watch Singapore Idol live. Key word: SUPPOSED. Meaning Cryssie's mum forgot to get the tickets. So...we headed to Orchard again, walked aimlessly about, went to Jurong to ice skate, had some pizza, went to the library.
Yeah.That's about it.

Pretty boring, if you ask me.

IP Interview

I screwed up. I stepped in and well, I forgot everything I prepared. As usual. Then they asked me stupid questions. And I answered the wrong things plus I was like, monosyllabic. And well, yeah. I screwed it up.

Ja's Birthday and Farewell Party

It was great! We had so much food, like 4 Large pizzas, fries, yakitori, sushi, fruits... Oh man, it was too much. Cong and the others didn't come. So sad. =(

We watched the Olympics there: the Li Jia Wei match against that stupid she-man. And she LOST. It's all that she-man's fault.Hmph.

Ja Idol!!!Woot. I was Florence erm...Lynn Yeo. Jo did the Ken Lim thing really well. Better than yhe real person himself. Do your eyes hurt, Jo?

We prank called a few people. Like the gay softball coach.

Today, Simo just praised me. No. Really. I remembered halfway through her long speech cum scolding that I had actually filed my Science. Wow. The fact that I've actually filed it...woah. The MIRACLE that i've actually REMEMBERED...WOAH. So she was like, " See ah, 2i, even Dawn has filed her Science ah." And I was like, *blink blink* "Even though she can be quite(struggles for a suitable word) absent-minded you know.-blah blah blah-" At this point, everyone starts consoling me.

It sounds okay, doesn't it? But let me explain. It sounds all right on paper. But the way she says it makes it sound like an insult.

I never want to be teacher's pet. I'll rather be teacher's-pain-in-the-ass. So there.
